Meet Abdul Hamid, one of the cutest little boys ever! Abdul Hamid can be a little bit quiet, with a curious look upon his face when he first meets new people or is in a new situation. This makes it all the more wonderful when you catch his bright smile.

Abdul Hamid is just two years old but is delayed in his gross motor skills, he is unable to stand independently, although in the past few weeks has mastered standing against a wall and is unable to walk, even with support. Additionally, he is not currently making any speech sounds or attempts to communicate verbally. It is really positive that his family have identified his needs whilst he is young, and support can be given through early interventions. We hope, with the right support, that Abdul Hamid will grow and develop amongst his peers and be given the opportunity to be included in education and life from a young age so that he can go from strength to strength.
We are seeking £12 per month sponsorship!
The plan for Abdul Hamid:
Twice a month physiotherapy – once at home and once at FFG centre. Abdul has 3 older siblings and lots of cousins who visit often so he is desperate to be able to join in with all their fun and games. His family are being trained to be involved with his therapy so that they can carry it out daily at home and make it fun and engaging for Abdul. Abdul definitely has a team of budding physiotherapists around him who are always encouraging him!
Specialised Gaiters used to wrap around his knees to promote knee joint strength and posture.
Once a month speech and language therapy – working on speech sounds and communication of basic needs.
Play therapy and fine motor activities
Project Peanut Butter growth sachets – which is a high quality nutritional supplement, that is energy dense and will help Adbul maintain a healthy weight, support his health and give energy for physiotherapy.
